Seasons: Spring

Seasons: Spring

Winter is just about to end and spring is going to start to emerge. This is just the start of a new beginning in photography. Spring is the start of a new beginning of life, taking photos during this time will be something more expansive. From the warm weather to the longer days, spring is a season where everything is starting to emerge from the coldness of the Winter.

 Birds:

This may be one of the things you would think of when you hear the words “SPRING”
Birds are beautiful creatures that have a spark of innocence in them. They are graceful, cautious animals flying above the skies. In one of the photos below you will see pictures of Hummingbirds, one of my favorite types of birds, elegant little flyers.

 Flowers:

Possibly another thing to think about when spring is just around the corner. Little buds are starting to pop up everywhere, releasing pollen so smaller insects and mammals can transport to other flowers. It’s a simple yet beautiful in a peaceful way.

 Landscape:

Aside from the animals and flowers the whole picture can be just as good. Getting a photo of a entire landscape can be something beautiful, if not magical. Flowers spread out everywhere, all different types of breeds. The scent of the fresh air, just form the photo. That warm comforting feeling you get when you are just outside relaxing in the weather.

Of course there are more photos that can be taken in the spring, including some water photos, sunsets, fields, and more. Have any other ideas? Great! Use them while the spring weather lasts, because once fall starts to follow everything will change once again. Until the next year where the whole cycle starts all over.

Seasons: Winter

Seasons: Winter

Winter is slowly starting to die off, and in some states or countries it already has. For a photographer, what other ways could some photo ideas begin. What photos could be great enough to take. Here are some ideas of what you could take.

Snowflakes:
Now for this one it all depends on the camera you have, some camera’s do have better pixels then others. Depending on the zoom and pixels you have, it may turn out like the following.

Icicles:
Icicles can be a beautiful thing to capture. Sculpted from mother nature herself, and hanging from where they form. But be careful not to let any large ones land on you. That could cause some problems….

Lakes:
Lakes can be a good photograph option in the winter, if you have a pond or lake near you, or even a creek, this can be a good photo option. That is, if you have any transportation to one.

Just some ideas of some photographs that you can take in the winter season. The only problem I see with this is the cold, but trust me at the right time of the right moment. It’s all worth it.

Hope you enjoyed this college of photos from all the wonderful people who took these photos.

Animals

For some photo ideas in the genre of Animals. Some of the most fiercest, innocent, smart, mysterious animals are in the wild. Some may be hard to find and others are right out your doorstep. The creatures of the outside are the most fascinating, in my opinion, things on this planet. It’s amazing how they have evolved and learned to adapt to their surroundings. You may not particularly get the most exotic animals from where you may live, but some may just be right underneath your feet.

For Example: Insects

Another example are: Animals in wildlife

There are plenty of animals out there in the world, there are amphibians, reptiles, mammals, etc. If you have a dog, hopefully s/he is patient, maybe you could get some great shots. Same with a cat. Exploring the outdoors and come across a bird, take out that camera and take the perfect picture. Possibly you are at the park, lots of beautiful animals live in that environment, TAKE A PIC!  There are endless possibilities, the zoo, out at the park, in your front/backyard, in a woods or forest, lake, river, desert, AND MORE!

Hope these ideas were helpful and made you think of some ways on what animals to take a picture of or gave you an idea of what subject you want to do!

Waterscapes

In the wilderness there are lots pictures that can catch the eye of a person. Ever go outside and just look up at the skies, then see the stars just gleaming right at you. Or perhaps you have gone out to explore a little bit more in the world and come across a lake, or a pond. Do you ever have the curiosity of what it looks like during the evenings or bright early in the mornings where the sun is just peeking above the horizon? In the summer days this would definitely be a must on my to-do list. Just watching the sun go down behind the trees and seeing all the wonderful colors bounce off the water below. It surely makes a wonderful sight to capture.

Waterscapes would make a beautiful picture to add to your collection.

I think the best thing about taking photo’s out by a lake or pond is just enjoying the peaceful vibe that comes with it. The birds just chirping out in the background and hearing the crickets start to emerge from there hiding spots. It’s gives off an illusion of the world being turned upside down. It’s also best during the summer because when the days are hot and moist, the nights become cool and active.

Landscapes

Photo Ideas for Landscape

Here are some ideas for taking photos outside of your house, apartment, townhouse, etc. The easiest part of doing this task is just to go outside. It’s as simple as that. Before I cover some ideas, Should it matter what camera you use?

*For an honest opinion I think it shouldn’t matter what camera you use whether it be a Canon, Olympus, an iPhone, or even an iPod.  The quality of your device shouldn’t matter it’s the thought and quality of the photo.*

Now that we have discussed that some ideas for Landscape photos. Just go outside, go ahead, no one is stopping you (unless it’s midnight outside and you’re a teenager stuck in a house unable to go outdoors). Now once you are outside look around the world is your canvas. There are plenty of ideas that could be right in front of you and you wouldn’t even know it.

For Example:

20061101223637_backyard1_wBackyard Trees

Just outside of your backyard, there could be a masterpiece waiting to be found. You don’t have to have the best backyard to take the best pictures.

Example 2:

Maybe it’s a beautiful day, the weathers nice, the wind is just perfect, and sun is shining making it feel not too hot but not too cold. Go to the park, a perfect place where nature is at hand.

park-photography4GreatSmokyMntnsNP.JoeyBLS Photography_2

What’s this? It’s raining outside, it’s cloudy, and the wind is just making everything worst? Depending how much you want to take a photo, DON’T LET THAT STOP YOU! Going to the park, or driving to the park can still spark some ideas. You just have to see it.

amazing-and-beautiful-rain-photographykonasunsetflickr

Those are just some of the ideas that involve landscape photography. HAVE FUN TAKING PHOTOS!
Next Blog should consist of waterscapes!
